Web hosting provider Hostopia announced on Wednesday its initial licensing of Web site templates to the service provider market, focusing on large hosting providers with strong reseller networks. Web hosting reseller Hostgator is among the first to have licensed Hostopia’s full inventory of site templates for distribution to its customer base.

Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Web.com announced on Tuesday it has signed a non-exclusive license agreement with Hostopia that grants Hostopia rights to two of Web.com’s patents over five years.

Shared hosting provider Hostopia topped the list of the most reliable Web host sites this month, followed by Verio and iPowerWeb, according to Web analytics firm Netcraft.
