Registry operator of the .asia top-level domain DotAsia Organisation announced on Wednesday the landrush phase for the .asia top level domain has ended, drawing nearly a half a million applications.

Web hosting providers, including Go Daddy and Hostway, announced on Monday they will begin accepting registration today for the new .ASIA top-level domain via The DotAsia Organization, a not-for-profit, community based organization that is the registry for the .ASIA domain.
