Web hosting provider Layered Technologies announced on Thursday it has been placed in research and analysis firm Netcraft’s Top 25 Hosting Providers Worldwide for four consecutive months.

The company credits its growth to the fact that it delivers affordable self-managed dedicated servers with easy customization options and no long-term contracts. Within the competitive dedicated server and on-demand computing market, Layered Technologies says it caters to the hosting technology enabler, or the CTO-type individuals within companies.

“Our brand promise is to provide robust server technology,” says Michael Platner, CEO of Layered Technologies. “Layered Technologies learned early on that AMD delivers timely in-demand innovation like backwards compatible 64-bit computing and dual-core processing for our company.”

Layered Technologies says in two and a half years, it has grown to be the 22nd largest Web hosting provider in the world in active Web sites.
