Web hosting provider IPOWER announced on Thursday it has been named a Rising Star on Deloitte’s 2006 Technology Fast 500.
A special category, the Rising Star list ranks 25 companies that have been in business three or four years and are ranked based on percentage revenue growth over three years. To qualify as a Fast 500 Rising Star, entrants must have had 2003 operating revenues of at least $50,000 and 2005 revenues of at least $5 million. Rising Stars must be headquartered in North America, and own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of their operating revenues, or devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.
IPOWER’s CEO Thomas Gorny credits the achievement to the company’s reputation for delivering high-value Web hosting solutions at very competitive price points teamed with the company’s revenue growth.
“Listening to the customer is key. It then becomes a team effort across the company to bring to life valuable services that positively impact the customer’s bottom line. We are pleased to be recognized as one of the Top 25 fastest growing young companies in North America,” says Gorny.
Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 is a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in North America.
