Web hosting and domain registrar Host Department announced on Tuesday it has updated its feature pack such as PHP, PhpMyAdmin, PhpPgAdmin and osCommerce to the latest stable version available.

Upgrading the PHP to 4.4.7 will enable developers to take advantage of new features and eliminate bugs that are found on previous versions. Host Department also upgraded the PhpMyAdmin and PhpPgAdmin to versions 2.10.0.2-0 and 4.1.1-0 respectively. While these versions are not the latest found in from the distributors, they are the latest version found stable with the current version of Host Department’s H-sphere control panel.

The osCommerce software has also been updated to version 2.2ms2-3, however, not all customers’ accounts using osCommerce have the software update, says the company.

Host Department provides reseller, premium, specialty and free Web hosting as well as domain name registration services to 550,000 customers worldwide.
