Web hosting provider Host Color announced on Tuesday that it will provide free upgrades to customers of its Midi and Max Web hosting plans.

Besides the increased disc space and monthly transfer quotas Host Color says customers are entitled to use advanced business applications when they sign-up for Max Pack, priced at $5.41 per month.

“We would like to have more customers who are using the full functionality of our hosting services,” says Alexander Avramov, customer care manager at Host Color. “Both Max and Mega hosting plans offer valuable business tools as a pre-installed software applications package, Powertools. This includes an advertising management system, shopping cart, advanced forum and blogging capabilities, flash gallery and content management system.”

Host Color says there are no hidden fees or conditions with its offer. It says the free upgrade with the purchase or renewal of Midi or Max plans is not mandatory and customers are not required to renew their upgraded service when the contract expires. They can choose to use the upgraded service or to downgrade it to a smaller hosting plan.
