Web hosting provider Host Color announced on Wednesday that it had added the Zen shopping cart to its Mega Pack hosting package as a pre-installed option.

The Zen shopping cart is based on the open source osCommerce solution.

“Zen is a popular online shopping cart that corresponds to the rapid development and extensive functionality that we provide with our service,” says Vesselin Drangajov, executive director of Host Color. “It is a tool that enables Web site owners to quickly set up their online store with Host Color hosting plans.”

Host Color has added several online applications to its proprietary control panel in recent months, including phpBB message board, WordPress blog, Image Gallery and Joomla, a php-based content management system.
