Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Go Daddy announced on Friday that for the fourth year in a row The Business Journal has ranked Go Daddy as “One of the Valley’s Best Places to Work.” The company ranked 19th in the category of large Valley companies.
“The Best Places to Work” is based on employee surveys which measure retention rate, manager effectiveness, team effectiveness, employee alignment with company goals, trust in senior leadership and trust in fellow coworkers, among other performance categories. The data is compiled by Quantum Market Research and finalists are put into categories based on company size, says the company.
“I learned a long time ago that happy employees are the key to success,” says Bob Parsons, CEO and founder of Go Daddy. “Our strategy is to make Go Daddy a fun place to work and that’s why we reward our teams with great prizes in the contests we hold weekly, monthly and sometimes daily.”
