Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Go Daddy announced on Friday it has discovered a new girl to add to the company’s roster of spokesmodels at Daytona’s Bike Week celebration in Daytona, Florida.
The winner of the competition is Lara Haworth from Cleveland, Ohio, an executive assistant for Hawaiian Tropics. Haworth beat out others who auditioned to become a new Go Daddy Girl during Parsons’ weekly satellite radio show, LifeOnline.com. To compete, the women donned Go Daddy tank tops, posed for photos and answered questions about their own GoDaddy-esque experiences.
“We had the idea that Bike Week would be a great place to hold try-outs. The crowd here at Daytona’s legendary Broken Spoke Saloon was tremendous,” says Bob Parsons, CEO and founder of Go Daddy. “Lara’s hot. She’s edgy. She’s a great fit for sure, and personifies the definition of GoDaddy-esque, which is edgy, racy and a touch inappropriate.”
Haworth won $1500 cash and the chance to officially join Candice Michelle, IndyCar driver Danica Patrick and motorcycle drag-racing star Valerie Thompson, as a spokeswoman for the company.
