Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Dotster announced on Wednesday it has begun a major advertising and promotional campaign to mark the launch of is MyInternet Web site services.

The national MyInternet campaign, called “Internet for the Rest of Us!” will feature print and TV advertising, a Special Dotster Edition Corvette Convertible sweepstakes, and a nationwide search for the “Dotster Dots,” four company spokesmodels who will be selected via open auditions in major cities beginning September 21 in Miami, Florida.

“We have created an exciting, multi-tiered campaign around it that will be hard to miss over the coming months,” says Ken Harden, Dotster’s VP of corporate marketing. “The intensive campaign takes advantage of Dotster’s Internet marketing expertise as well as traditional TV and print ads, punctuated through special event appearances by Dotster’s roving ambassadors – the Dotster Dots.”

MyInternet offers domain registration, Web site design, construction and hosting, starting at less than one dollar per day. MyInternet’s personal Web site service provides one-on-one support from Dotster’s in-house designers to help Internet users design and publish a custom Web site.
